Russian missile and drone attacks struck residential buildings and infrastructure in Kyiv, Odesa, and Dnipro overnight on April 15–16, killing at least 16 people and wounding dozens more. France 24 puts the death toll at 16, while Deutsche Welle and France 24's earlier report describe it as 'several' or 'more than a dozen,' with Deutsche Welle noting a 12-year-old was among the dead. Al Jazeera adds that a shortage of ballistic missile interceptors left Kyiv particularly exposed to the assault.
