Ragi‑based nutrition programme extended for three more years in state schools
The Ragi Java Seva scheme, which provides millet‑based meals to students, has been extended for an additional three years, covering over 30 lakh pupils across 44,000 government schools. Launched three years ago, the programme aims to improve child nutrition and promote local crops.
