Giants select WR Malachi Fields in third round, GM Schoen calls him “power forward”
The New York Giants traded back into the third round of the 2026 NFL Draft to pick Notre Dame wide receiver Malachi Fields with the 74th overall selection. GM Joe Schoen described Fields as a “power forward” who can stretch defenses. Fields spent five seasons at Virginia and Notre Dame and is expected to compete for a roster spot.
