Yan Huichang to step down after 30 years as head of Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra
Yan Huichang announced his resignation as artistic director of the Hong Kong Chinese Orchestra, effective July 2027, after three decades at the helm. He will remain as honorary artistic director, lifelong conductor, and chairman of the orchestra's artistic committee and academy.
