Wave of Crypto Hacks Hits Dozen Entities; Grinex and Rhea Finance Lose $21M Combined
At least a dozen crypto entities have been attacked in an ongoing wave of hacks traced back to the Drift Protocol breach. Among the latest victims, Russia-linked exchange Grinex was hacked for $14 million and halted trading, while Rhea Finance was also compromised — bringing the two-day combined losses to $21 million. Grinex has previously been accused by U.S. authorities of facilitating sanctions evasion and laundering funds for Russia-linked hackers.
