However, three Lebanese officials told Reuters that President Aoun would not hold the call in the near future, and France 24 reports Beirut informed Washington of this before Aoun's call with Secretary of State Rubio. Al Jazeera and France 24 note no official response had come from either side to Trump's announcement, and that Netanyahu had simultaneously ordered an expansion of the invasion.
