Putin Signs Decree Allowing Importers to Defer VAT Payments for Up to 3 Months
Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed a decree launching a pilot program permitting companies importing goods into Russia to defer VAT payments collected by customs authorities by up to three months, interest-free. The program runs until June 30, 2027, and participation requires companies to meet three conditions, including appearing in a registry of authorized economic operators.
