Polish insurer PZU to acquire 100 % of MetLife Ukraine, boosting Kyiv financial sector
Kyiv Post reports that Poland’s PZU Group is buying MetLife Ukraine, the country’s largest life‑insurance company with about 900,000 clients. The deal represents a significant increase in Polish investment in Ukraine’s financial market. The acquisition was disclosed on May 4, 2026.
