Netflix Co-Founder Reed Hastings to Step Down From Board in June
Reed Hastings, who co-founded Netflix and served as CEO for 25 years before transitioning to executive chairman, will leave the company's board of directors when his term expires at the annual meeting in June 2026. Hastings cited a desire to focus on philanthropy and other pursuits as the reason for his departure.
