Kerala Election Commission Orders EVMs Strongrooms Shut Until Counting Day
Kerala's Chief Electoral Officer Rathan U. Kelkar issued a directive barring the opening of strongrooms storing Electronic Voting Machines before counting day. The order follows reports that a strongroom in the Perambra constituency in Kozhikode was opened on Monday, and that another in Nenmara, Palakkad was also planned to be opened.
