Judge halts Nexstar's takeover of Tegna TV stations until antitrust trial
U.S. Judge Trevor Nunley has blocked local TV giant Nexstar from completing its takeover of rival broadcaster Tegna pending an antitrust trial. The judge ruled that consumers could suffer irreparable harm if Nexstar integrated Tegna's stations into its operations before the trial concludes.
