Hong Kong recorded 714,765 mainland Chinese visits between May 1‑3, a 4.8% increase from the previous year’s 682,114. Hotel occupancy could reach around 90% during the holiday, but industry officials warn that uneven spending and more flexible travel patterns may offset the boost.
