Deezer: 44% of New Music Uploads Are AI-Generated, Most AI Streams Flagged as Fraud
Deezer reports that AI-generated tracks now account for 44% of songs uploaded to its platform daily, according to both TechCrunch and Ars Technica. Despite the high upload rate, actual consumption remains low at 1–3% of total streams. Deezer says 85% of those AI streams are detected as fraudulent and demonetized. The company has invested in detection technology to identify and label AI content on the platform.
